Jennell Evans launched Strategic Interactions, Inc. (SI) in 1990 with co-founder, David Swink. They pioneered the use of Interactive Behavioral Simulations™ that depict real workplace situations and act as catalysts for learning critical emotional intelligence  skills. The uniqueness and extreme effectiveness of their training approach has been featured several times on 60 Minutes, and on Good Morning America and Nightline, and in publications like The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Los Angeles Times.

Jennell spent the first part of her career providing professional services to organizations as an architectural designer of office environments. After studying leadership and organizational development in graduate school, her work with corporations and nonprofits focused on facilitating emotional intelligence training for leaders, corporate strategic planning sessions, mindfulness workshops and organizational transformation initiatives. Jennell now leads SI’s Leadership Minds & Matters practice and its Music City Meditation practice that involves Nashville-based services.


Jennell has led client engagements with AECOM, HCA Healthcare, the Nashville Bar Association, The Carlyle Group, General Dynamics, Deloitte, Aol, the American College of Cardiology, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Time Warner Cable, Fannie Mae, Verizon, Discovery Communications, Ann Taylor Stores, Sunrise Senior Living, Marriott International, Surescripts, Special Olympics, AvalonBay Communities, Navy Federal Credit Union, Choice Hotels International and other corporations and nonprofits.


Jennell has a Masters in Organizational Development and a Certificate in Instructional Design from Marymount University, and a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. Jennell is also a certified Mindfulness and Meditation Instructor having completed her training at the McLean Meditation Institute. She is also certified to coach leaders how to develop their emotional and social intelligence.


Jennell is passionate about helping leaders transform into high performers who effectively navigate conflicts, build high-trust relationships, and create work cultures that thrive, resulting in less stress to manage, more quality time with their families and much happier, rewarding lives.
